Too-Slow schooner (7 kph) fitted out by a private investment group with a single rifled 24lb gun (probably a pivot, as the Antebellum slavers were armed).
Waiting for a 24lb pivot gun, standing and running rigging. Currently berthed on a bed of Joe Frogger rum cookies. https://newengland.com/today/food/desserts/cookies-bars/joe-froggers/
Hull spliced from leftover LINDBERG Blockade Runner bow and stern sections.
Probably wind up rigged Brigantine style.
Current build logs -

1/96 Japanese 'Steel Truck'
1/96 12cm pre-Dreadnaught deck gun

1/192 scale whaler PEQUOD
Thanks, Robert. It was my lazy attempt at sheathing in need of careening.
The hull was primed flat black, then after masking the waterline a coat of hammered bronze (copper) from a rattle can. After that base coat was dried, a very very light dusting of olive green (again, rattle can).
Gotta do something to sharpen up the waterline. Construction halted until I feel up to tackling the rigging.
