Hi
Can some one help please, i am building my first proper build, Trumpeters HMS Daring. I have almost finished the hull, is it best to now varnish the hull so i can protect it from fingers etc when adding the superstructures?
Or do builders use some form of cradle to hold the hull??
Thanks Bob

Re: Protecting the hull
Your fingerprints would just get on the varnish instead of the paint. The best way to prevent fingerprints on the model is to hold it through a base or interior. Mount it to wherever you plan on putting it when you finish, and handle the model through that.
De quoi s'agit-il?

You can also look for "finger cots", small rubber or cotton covers for your fingertips when you have to hold the model.
