Bruno Gire has also produced keel blocks for the USS Missouri and USS Montana in 1/700 scale.

USS MISSOURI :
A realistic way of representing the 700th scale battleship Missouri in full hull is to lay her on the lines of tins
as in a dry dock.
This set is based on the actual beaching diagram of an Iowa class battleship and includes 426 tins.
Each tin has the same dimensions as in the real thing.
The assembly method makes it very easy to position all the tins without calculating or measuring anything, in just 17 simultaneous glues.

USS MONTANA :
A realistic way of representing the battleship Montana at the 700th in full hull is to place it on the lines of tins as if in a dry dock.
as in a dry dock.
This set is based on the actual beaching layout of an Iowa-class battleship, adapted for the Montana, which is longer and has 426 tins.
Each tin has the same dimensions as in the real thing.
The assembly method makes it very easy to position all the tins without calculating or measuring anything, in just 16 simultaneous glues.
This set is designed for the VeryFire kit of the USS Montana at the 700th

if the top blocking diagram is for the Iowa class then there should be 14 open spots not 4 as shown on your picture according to the New York Naval Yard plans with latest reference Jan 15 1940 I have saved on my computer.

This has just been corrected. Update coming soon. Thanks for watching!

A sample of assembly instructions (here: Montana)
Note: for such a number of cuts an ultrasonic cutter works very fine with excellent and quick result.
