I have a question about the paint scheme for AP-23 USS West Point between 1941 and 1945. So far I've identified four different schemes:
- Civilian paint scheme (until june 1941) - see attachment 1
- Dark Grey (after june 1941) - see attachment 2
- MS 12 two tone (july 24 1942) - see attachment 3
- Dazzle/Disruptive scheme (august 23 1942 - july 1945) - see attachment 4 (1942) and 5 (1945)
My question is about the Dazzle/Disruptive scheme. Was this a US Navy design or was this a British design? What was the name for this design? What colours were used for this scheme?

Photographs 4 and 5 show WEST POINT in her own version of the Ms12 mod pattern, in standard colors (5-N, 5-O, and 5-H).
