Tamiya Musashi kit 78016

I've set up a trade, and will get a Musashi, Tamiya kit 78016. Scalemates says approx. 20 years old. Is the Veryfire kit substantially more accurate, refined, and detailed? I think the 2 GMM pe sets are designed for this kit, and could yield a decent build.
Thoughts/ considerations?

I believe it is still the original kit that came out in 1981, but it supposedly has some new parts, which I don't what they are. I haven't seen the Very Fire kit in person, but what I have seen on some YouTube channels, it is leaps and bounds ahead of the old Tamiya. The GMM set will still make a very good Musashi. Hope this was of some help

Thank you. I hoped some might stop in and offer a few observations. TheVF kit is the newest, shiniest Musashi, but 150-ish for the base kit, no pe railings, etc. wants a comparison. The 2 GMM pe sets come in at 75-80, whereas the update set for VF is 175-ish. Nust getting back into ships, but I am definitly at S.A.B.L.E. with regards to my stash.

And compare that with any of the reviews of the VF kits to compare the very wide differences.
