After a year she was transferred to Chargeurs R�unis as MAROUA for their West African service. Then in December 1961 she was bought by China Navigation Company and was renamed TIENTSIN. She was named for the capital of North Cameroon.

A Fraissinet & Cyprien Fabre line sistership DUQUESNE had a similar career, becoming MANGA with Chargeurs R�unis and then TSINGTAO with China Navigation.
